✅ Birth control pill
- Mostly unproblematic.
- In rare cases, hormones influence the hair growth cycle → a few more sessions may be necessary.
- Very rare: certain preparations may increase photosensitivity.
⚠ Blood thinners (e.g. aspirin, ibuprofen, warfarin, heparin, clopidogrel)
- Do not influence the laser effect, but increase the risk of small bruises.
- If possible, abstain from taking aspirin/ibuprofen 24 hours before the session (unless prescribed by a doctor).
⚠ Painkillers
- Paracetamol: safe.
- Ibuprofen/Aspirin: can thin blood → more redness or small hematomas.
- Stronger painkillers: some increase light sensitivity - be sure to specify.
